Best means to optimize direct bookings

Use OTAs only to have new customers and then offering them loyalty programs, offers/package through direct bookings on our official website. Our strategy will be mainly based on communicating on social media and on our hotel's website and thus avoid loosing money with OTAs services.

Here are the best means to increase direct bookings for independent hotels:


  • To make sure that our referencing on researchers (Google) is efficient so that our hotel appears first

  • To improve our website so that it becomes more interactive and attractive (design, clear and simple to use, especially for bookings)

  • To encourage customers to post comments, pictures, videos on our websites and to answer to the negative comments with positive solutions (transparency): guests' involvement and participation
