This newspaper article that is entitled "A boost for sustainable restaurants?" was written in the British online newspaper Guardian.co.uk.
It is about the English Sustainable Restaurant Association and their criteria for the accreditation of sustainable restaurants.
What I like in this article is that the journalist is questioning the association's accreditation system because he or she thinks that they are too limited (only three criteria) and that it could allow companies like KFC or Pizza Hut to apply for such a certification, even if it does not have a strong sustainable development system.
Do you think that the Association should allow every company apply for the sustainable certification or it should develop more criteria in order to do a better and stricter selection?
According to you, is McDonald ready today to be accredited by official sustainable associations?
